Expect notes of dark chocolate and berry compote layered over Tamnavulin's classic sweet, smooth, and fruity house style. In the glass, it shines a deep mahogany. The nose offers a decadent aromas of ripe red berries, plum, dark chocolate, rose syrup, sweet biscuit, and spiced orange. Tamnavulin Sherry Cask Edition is a rich and indulgent single malt that showcases the distillery's signature smoothness with an added layer of depth. Initially matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks to develop a soft, mellow character, it is then finished in hand-selected sherry casks from esteemed cooperages in southern Spain. The result is a whisky with a warm amber gold hue and a rich flavour profile. On the nose, expect notes of vanilla, caramel, banana, and a touch of sweet milk chocolate with fresh ginger. The palate unfolds in layers of maple syrup, raisin, and orange, rounded out with hints of apricot and melon.
