Distilled on the shores of the Sound of Islay since 1846 using pure water from Loch Nam Ban, it captures the essence of Islay with clarity, finesse, and enduring appeal. Pale straw in colour, this fresh and smooth-bodied whisky opens with a clean, appetising nose of subtle citrus fruit, fresh herbs, and a gentle wisp of peat smoke. The palate begins sweetly and softly, developing into a fragrant, balanced smokiness before concluding with a lingering, sweet-smoke finish.

A great malt which Jim Murray awarded 95 points in his Whisky Bible, this is excellent value for money. The flavours are simple, but flawless, a clean, crisp 15 year old from the Dalwhinnie distillery, also part of Diageo's Classic Malts range.

A perfect introduction to Fettercairn - After years of maturing in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, this 12YO is the colour of sunlight and amber honey. On the nose notes of vanilla and pear, with soft spices. The palate reveals refreshing nectarine and tropical fruit flavours, finishing with sultanas, roasted coffee and black toffee.

A great beginner's whisky right here from the Glen Grant Distillery, produced in tall pot stills. This 10 year old Speyside single malt, having spent a decade in bourbon casks, boasts oodles of light, malty notes. A top dram for warmer weather.
