A bustling seaside resort has grown up around the distillery in the two centuries since it was first built in the fishing town of Oban. The West Highland malt is still produced in the same unhurried, traditional fashion and this 14 year old is a classic dram from the distillery.

This Port Charlotte 10 year old has been conceived, distilled, matured and bottled on Islay alone. Scapegrace Single Malt. Loam soil wheat distilled with mineral rich water pulled from beneath New Zealand's Southern Alps. A whisky defined by the character of the land itself.

Manuka Smoked Single Malt. Aged by New Zealand's irrepressible tide of climate and season to incite a whisky whose character is at variance with the volatility of its own creation.

Scapegrace Single Malt. A traditionally distilled whisky, matured by the felicitous seasons of a fortuitous terrain in a halcyon landscape.

The fourth bottle in the series of 4 limited release bottles by the Scapegrace distillery. A limited run of 2,274 bottles this whisky is made from New Zealand Laureate grain and as aged in Bulgarian oak casks. Scapegraces Master Distiller, Anthony Lawry, describes the whisky as having flavours of baked apples and stewed plums. Vanilla sponge dessert. The whisky reaches back longer than the Scapegrace distillery itself as Doug and Anthony started making this whisky long before Scapegrace put its branding on the barrels.

In a world filled with conventions and rules, it had to bend a couple to make it easier for all to enjoy a good whisky in a time when good whisky was a luxury. Sheep Dip is a small batch, handcrafted, premium blended malt Scotch whisky. Inspired by the illicit distilling practiced by farmers of old, it marries together single malt whiskies from around Scotland in an enigmatically refined blend that packs plenty of punch.

Hakushu (the mountain forest distillery) is located deep in the forest of Japan's Southern Alps. It is embraced for its herbal, gently smoky flavour. The innovation in Hakushu Distiller's Reserve comes from using a lightly peated malt whisky as its young talent.
