The Cover Drive Cabernet Sauvignon, first released in 2001, has been inspired by the great cricketing history of this vineyard. The wines consistently show great line and length. The nose leads with aromas of fresh tobacco leaf, cassis, boysenberry and spice. A silk like entry on the palate with super fine, detailed tannin, ripe berried fruits, a hint of tobacco and the classic brambles of Clare Cabernet to finish.

Vibrant aromatics of purple fruited compote, spice and purple florals on the nose. The palate is dominated by dark fruits and brambles, spice and a hint of warming oak, with a seamless flow and integrated tannin.

Nice, vibrant ruby red colour. Sweetly scented and classically "Martinborough" with a nice balance of red cherry, pretty florals and savoury, earthy notes. A delicious array of ripe and succulent red berry/cherry flavours and layers. Lovely spice and quite a lot of fruit and oak sweetness on the finish, complimented nicely by silky tannins and delicate acidity. Nice, fresh and youthful Pinot Noir expression. Great drinking now and will cellar nicely for 5 plus years. Food match with braised rabbit pappardelle.

Brassknocker by McArthur Ridge is their Village level Pinot Noir, the name is inspired from the unique Brassknocker soils which the McArthur Ridge vineyard are planted in, sited on expansive ancient glacial moraine terraces in Alexandra, Central Otago. Beautiful floral notes, aromatic and complex, showing ripe cherry, oak spice, and mocha notes on the nose. The palate is succulent with rich red berry notes, violets, oregano herbal nuances and fine tannins. The wine is supported by fine acidity and finishes with a long and balanced persistency.

Ruby red in colour, this wine has a bouquet of savoury red berry fruit, black cherry and vanilla that combine with aromas of black forest berries, cloves and dark violets, finishing with soft stony notes. Dry on the palate with a core of fruit, savoury tannins give it a great texture. The oak influence is obvious with baking spices, brown sugar and smokiness. Expect this wine to improve further with careful cellaring over the next 7-10 years.

This Merlot displays the wonderful fruit flavours of raspberry, cherry and ripe plum. These are nicely integrated with caramel and vanilla oak characters to create a smooth and enjoyable red wine.

The nose is generous; red and black fruit aromas are perfectly balanced with strawberry, cassis, nutmeg, and cinnamon, with vanilla, and mocha from the wine's time in French oak, which also lends a sensation of sweetness on the midpalate. In the mouth it is balanced, with smooth tannins and rich flavours, with fresh fruit acidity and a classic dry finish.

Mt Difficulty is a boutique winery located in Bannockburn, Central Otago, and was named after the mountain overlooking Felton road and the southern Cromwell basin. As the vineyards are ageing Mt Difficulty are starting to see additional complexity emerging each vintage. Inviting and opulent, the palate is flush with sweet cherry & blueberry, followed by trademark earth & savoury notes and framed by baking spice and fine grained French Oak. The fruit floods through to the finish with a juicy balance, indicating acidity that will keep the wine aging well.

The grapes for Roaring Meg come from Mt Difficulty's Cromwell basin vineyards managed by their dedicated viticultural team. The addition of fruit from their Bendigo vineyard has lends a powerful, darker edge. Roaring Meg Pinot Noir features red, blue and black berry fruit aromatics. The palate is harmonious with rich dark berries and a savoury line underneath. A hint of spice and dried thyme complement the succulent fruit. Fine silky tannins frame the wine with a great flow and finish.
