This delicious dessert wine is a fortified wine made from Askerne's best Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, picked at optimal ripeness, fermented and then lightly fortified to preserve the fruit sugars and alluring aromatics. The palate is generous and decadent, with aromas of dark cherry spice and black berry fruits. This wine is a perfect accompaniment to dark chocolate.

Honey and apricot characters on the nose combine with subtle quince and ripe orange aromas. Spice notes of vanilla and burnt caramel add interest. The palate is plush and viscous in part due to the degree of botrytis and the retained grape sugars. This is a decadent wine with wonderfully concentrated flavours that has great potential for aging.

Fresh and pure fruit notes of white nectarine, quince and citrus. Complexity comes in the form of a delicate white floral or talcum nuance underpinned by mellow vanilla and other spice elements from the barrel. The palate is full bodied and rich with weight coming from both alcohol and residual sugar. Drink chilled down as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to lighter fruit based deserts such as apricot tarte tatin.

Exuding tropical aromas of ripe, fleshy nectarine and apricot with hints of caramelisation. The waxy palate builds on these aromas with an intensity of grapefruit marmalade and stone fruit. Whilst broad and rich upfront the acid line provides a crisp, balanced finish with abundant length.
